Staff Profiles

Clarence Reyes, CPA, EA, Esq.

Clarence Reyes is the principal CPA at Omnibus Accounting & Tax Solutions. He earned his undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Accountancy, from the University of San Diego, where he graduated magna cum laude. He began his career in public accounting shortly thereafter, gaining extensive experience working on a wide variety of accounting and tax functions, including bookkeeping, payroll, and the complete preparation of individual, business, estates and trusts, as well as nonprofit organization tax returns, including both public charities and private foundations. He also took an interest and gained valuable experience helping his clients in tax planning to find opportunities to minimize their various tax liabilities.

Since joining Omnibus Accounting & Tax Solutions, Mr. Reyes has not only brought his skillset in the preparation and advisory, but he has also advocated his clients in matters before the IRS, the Franchise Tax Board (FTB), the Employment Development Department (EDD), and the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA).

In addition to being a CPA, Mr. Reyes is also a practicing attorney. He received his J.D. at the University of San Diego, School of Law, where he volunteered at the Legal Aid Society of San Diego, assisting low-income clients in matters involving federal tax, housing, and immigration. Since graduating, Mr. Reyes has acquired a broad range of experience in business formation, business advisory, contract drafting, civil litigation, employment law, trademark law, and immigration law.

Mr. Reyes is licensed to practice before all state courts in the State of California, the state of New Jersey, the United States District Court (Southern District of California), and the United States Tax Court.

In addition to the practicing both accounting and law, Clarence is an avid sports fan and enjoys playing golf and softball, where he participates in various leagues and tournaments around San Diego County.
